Poste d'introduction

Ce blog sera en français. Je vais probablement donner une traduction au bas de ce poste et seulement ce poste, alors vous avez votre dernièr avertissement. :P

Pour introduire, je suis une étudiante anglo, mais je vais aller à l'Université de Toronto cette Septembre pour commencer des études à devenir un prof de français. Je suis un exemple de la phenomène s'appelait "l'étudiante perpetuelle". J'ai fait mon bac entre les années 2003 à 2008 aux études françaises, puis j'ai commencé ma maîtrise - ouais, je suis une étudiante maîtrise, je suis un peu suicidaire - aux études européennes, mais ce programme est en anglais. J'ai presque fini ce programme...j'attends maintenant au groupe qui évaluent ma mémoire-dissertation-chose, puis j'aurai un "MA" très fanci à la fin de mon nom. :P

A cause du fait que mon MA est en anglais, je vraiment manque du pratique en français. Voici ce blog, dans lequel je vais parler de ma vie quotidienne en français pour améliorer mon français.

Pourquoi le titre? Je ne sais pas. Mon premier choix n'était pas disponible. :c D'ailleurs, je pense que c'est une bonne reflexion du vrai but de ce blog; de cultiver le jardin de vocabulaire dans mon cerveau. J'ai besoin de réussir à un examen de compétence de la langue française ce week-end, et je pense que j'aurai un veritable problème. :c Heureusement, si je râte à cet examen, il n'annulera pas mon acceptance, mais j'aurai besoin de suivre un cours de la revision française...et je ne veux pas suivre un tel cours avec le travail que j'aurai cet automne. Bonne chance à moi, je suppose.

To begin, I'm an anglophone student, but I am going to go to the University of Toronto this September to begin my studies to become a French teacher. I am an example of the phenomenon known as the "perpetual student". I did my undergrad between the years 2003 and 2008 in French studies, then I started my Master's - yes, I am a Master's student, I'm a bit suicidal - in European Studies, but this program is in English. I'm almost done this program...I'm waiting on the group that's evaluating my MRP-dissertation-thing, then I will have a very fancy MA at the end of my name. :P

Because of the fact that my program is in English, I definitely lack practise in French. Behold this blog, in which I am going to talk about my daily life in French to improve my French.

Why the title? I dunno. My first choice wasn't available. :c Besides, I think it's a good reflection of the real purpose of this blog; to cultivate my "vocabulary garden" in my head. I need to pass a French proficiency exam this weekend, and I think I will have a real problem. Fortunately, if I fail the exam, it won't negate my acceptance, but I will have to take a French review class, and I don't want to take such a class with all the work I will have to do this autumn.
